The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $60. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Sundar's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $60 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $45
• Reconnection and late fees: $10
• Down payment on a payment plan: $5

Hang in there, Sundar. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
What exactly is the $60 for?
It's all in the list in the story. electricity arrears is the big one at $45, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for asking.
Hang in there, Sundar. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps.
Sending strength. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Jakarta this morning. All the best.
Hang in there, Sundar. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Saint-Étienne.
