Keep the electricity on at Shan's home in Los Angeles
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Shan needs $500 before July.

The electricity account is 2 months behind. Shan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $500 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Shan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $110 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Shan is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
