Keep the electricity on at Babu's home in London

Help Babu cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $550. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $550 goes: • Electricity arrears: $200 • Reconnection and late fees: $120 • Down payment on a payment plan: $230 With deep gratitude, Babu

Good luck, Babu. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
