The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $800. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $100 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
