The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $100. I have never been late before losing my job in March. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Rami's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $100 goes: • Electricity arrears: $35 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $45 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Rami
