The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. Eva received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $850 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Eva called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $65 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Eva is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
