Keep a roof over Willow's head in San Diego
A delayed insurance payout left Willow short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When the restaurant closed in August, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Friday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,000.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I've 3 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,600
• Late fees and court costs: $190
• Utilities in arrears: $150
• First month of rent as a buffer: $1,060

wishing you the best. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of San Diego.
Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Bandung donated after I showed her your page. All the best
Wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Lagos so I could bring a meal. Love from Rockford.
your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Boulogne-Billancourt donated after I showed her your page. Blessings!
Rooting for you, Willow. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
