Keep a roof over Silvia's head in San Sebastián
After the loss of a second income, Silvia is 3 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

After a sudden layoff at the textile factory, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,000
• Late fees and court costs: $260
• Utilities in arrears: $120
• First month of rent as a buffer: $470
Every share and every dollar helps.

I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Hawassa!
Stay strong, Silvia. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together.
Praying for you, Silvia. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Blessings!
Best of luck, Silvia. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Kyiv!
Stay strong, Silvia. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Take care, Silvia. Shared this with my family. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Love from San Nicolás de los Garza.
