Keep a roof over Nina's head in Odesa
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Nina needs $750 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Odesa.

When my hours were cut in half in September, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $750 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $510
• Late fees and court costs: $70
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• First month of rent as a buffer: $150

Praying for you, Nina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings.
Good luck, Nina. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Take care.
Best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope December is when things finally get easier.
Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Mérida.
