Keep a roof over Lucía's head in Barcelona
A delayed insurance payout left Lucía short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 10 weeks, Lucía fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $2,650.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Lucía has started working extra hours at a market stall, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
