Keep a roof over Liam's head in Lethbridge
After a sudden layoff, Liam is 2 months behind on rent and has a 10-day notice to quit from the landlord.

When my hours were cut in half in January, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $4,700.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by March, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $3,150
• Late fees and court costs: $310
• Utilities in arrears: $290
• First month of rent as a buffer: $950
I hope life is good to you.

sending strength. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings
Sending strength. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Gothenburg but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. Don't give up. Love from Durban
Wishing you the best, Liam. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
