Keep a roof over Frieda's head in Munich
A cut in working hours left Frieda short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Monday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $4,150.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $4,150 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $2,750
• Late fees and court costs: $280
• Utilities in arrears: $280
• First month of rent as a buffer: $840
Thank you so much.
