Keep a roof over Birgitta's head in Södertälje
A court summons for non-payment arrived last week. Birgitta needs $2,450 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Södertälje.

When my hours were cut in half in August, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $1,400
• Late fees and court costs: $220
• Utilities in arrears: $210
• First month of rent as a buffer: $620
I hope life is good to you.
