Keep a roof over Antônia's head in Londrina
After a car accident, Antônia is 2 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,300.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by January, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $910
• Late fees and court costs: $55
• Utilities in arrears: $40
• First month of rent as a buffer: $295
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you, Antônia. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon!
You're not alone, Antônia. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
You're not alone, Antônia. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Uberlândia
Thinking of you, Antônia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 28 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in 6th of October City this morning. Thinking of Londrina.
