Kazuo's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Kazuo won a place at Shinjuku Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Shinjuku Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $700, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $700 goes:
• Laptop: $310
• School uniform and shoes: $170
• Textbooks and workbooks: $140
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($99 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
