I'm eight weeks into recovery from stimulant addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

    • Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

        • Thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out.

          • You're not alone, Kavitha. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
