I'm ten months into recovery from opioid addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thanks for sharing this. I hope things turn around soon. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Munich
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from London.
Stay strong. Hope the doctors have good news. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Gwagwalada

Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Glendale
