Jun can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in San Francisco.
🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States657 views
Jun has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Jun can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Jun's family will cook lunch for the team.

Thinking of you, Tian. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
Stay strong, Tian. Shared this with my family.
Rooting for you, Tian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Praying for you, Tian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to 6th of October City so I could bring a meal. All the best.
