Julia wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Julia, 80, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 80. After a heart attack Julia can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Julia desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Julia worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $2,750
• Medication and prescriptions: $360
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $290
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $300
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
