Rajshahi
Joya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at the Rajshahi Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Joya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joya has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Joya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Rajshahi Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $500 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $320 • Final term tuition: $135 • Exam and lab fees: $45 With deep gratitude, Karim
