Josefa is isolated after chemotherapy: a call a week would help
A volunteer who can phone or video-call Josefa once a week for the next few months.

After chemotherapy, I have been mostly housebound for 12 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like podcasts, football and cooking, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Thank you so much.

Hang in there. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Coyoacán!
sending good thoughts, Josefa. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
sending strength. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless
So sorry you're going through this, Josefa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
Wishing you peace, Josefa. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
