Join the Seniors' Tea Afternoon: Maina needs helpers on Saturday
We're short of hands for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon; can you spare a morning?
🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya1,661 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 205 neighbors in Kasarani. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Kasarani.
Thinking of you. More neighborhoods should do this. After 6 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Praying for you. Great idea, hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
