Give a few hours to the School Supplies Giveaway - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 467 neighbors in Brooklyn. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
