Join the School Supplies Giveaway: Hellen needs helpers on Tuesday
We're short of hands for the School Supplies Giveaway; can you spare a morning?
🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya443 views
Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 572 neighbors in Kisumu. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3-hour shift
- format
- In person in Kisumu
- skills
- friendly attitude, willingness to help
