Give a few hours to the School Supplies Giveaway - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 416 neighbors in Mbale. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.

You're not alone. More neighborhoods should do this. After 6 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Mbale
