Join the School Supplies Giveaway: Aaliyah needs helpers on Monday
We're short of hands for the School Supplies Giveaway; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States667 views
Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 482 neighbors in Los Angeles. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you for reading my story.
