Bahir Dar
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 282 neighbors in Bahir Dar. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you for reading my story.

Good luck, Zewditu. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best

          • wishing you the best, Zewditu. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
