Join the Refugee Welcome Picnic: Violet needs helpers on Monday
Our small team in London is running the Refugee Welcome Picnic and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 304 neighbors in London. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
wishing you peace, Violet. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in San Diego but we're thinking of you
so sorry you're going through this, Violet. Your post was clear and honest
Keep going, Violet. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Thane.

Sending love, Violet. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
Take care. More neighborhoods should do this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
Wishing you peace. More neighborhoods should do this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Bang Khen.
keep going, Violet. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
