Join the Refugee Welcome Picnic: Lincoln needs helpers on Wednesday
Our small team in Birmingham is running the Refugee Welcome Picnic and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom1,058 views
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 398 neighbors in Birmingham. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
