Join the Refugee Welcome Picnic: Brian needs helpers on Tuesday
Give a few hours to the Refugee Welcome Picnic - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇦🇺 Hobart, Tasmania, Australia481 views
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 128 neighbors in Hobart. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Hobart
Wishing you the best, Brian. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't give up. God bless.
Praying for you, Brian. Shared this with my family. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too
