We are short of hands for the Refugee Welcome Picnic; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 107 neighbors in Phuket. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • great idea, hope you get there. After 17 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
