Join the Refugee Welcome Picnic: Antonio needs helpers on Wednesday
Give a few hours to the Refugee Welcome Picnic - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 310 neighbors in Akron. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
