Join the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive: Ayaan needs helpers on Wednesday
Our small team in Mumbai is running the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India485 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 461 neighbors in Mumbai. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3-hour shift
- format
- In person in Mumbai
- skills
- friendly attitude, willingness to help

So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Saint Petersburg donated after I showed her your page.
More neighborhoods should do this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
