Join the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive: Amparo needs helpers on Sunday
We're short of hands for the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States1,140 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 157 neighbors in Oakland. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Glad we found this place.

rooting for you, Amparo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Quezon City!
