Every year the Holiday Toy Drive brings together 454 neighbors in Kyiv. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Take care, Alexei. Shared this with my family. All the best.

    • You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out!

      • Hope it all works out. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My husband and I read this together. Love from Accra.

        • reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 24 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything
