Join the Free Community Meal: Valentina needs helpers on Friday
Our small team in Philadelphia is running the Free Community Meal and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇺🇸 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States1,484 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 421 neighbors in Philadelphia. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.

Best of luck, Valentina. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Philadelphia.
Wishing you peace, Valentina. Great idea, hope you get there. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Valentina. More neighborhoods should do this.
