Join the Free Community Meal: Taylor needs helpers on Monday
Our small team in Peoria is running the Free Community Meal and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 239 neighbors in Peoria. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you so much.

more neighborhoods should do this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Jinja.
