Join the Free Community Meal: Sachini needs helpers on Sunday
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇱🇰 Southern, Sri Lanka1,115 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 166 neighbors in Galle. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you for reading my story.
