Join the Free Community Meal: Robel needs helpers on Wednesday
Our small team in Bahir Dar is running the Free Community Meal and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia410 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 151 neighbors in Bahir Dar. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
