Join the Free Community Meal: Maria needs helpers on Wednesday
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇧🇷 Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil713 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 193 neighbors in Porto Alegre. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thanks for being kind about this.
