Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 299 neighbors in Munich. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you for reading my story.

Rooting for you, Helene. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Take care. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer!
Hope things get better soon, Helene. Hope this works out for you.
Take care, Helene. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Sending strength, Helene. This could happen to any of us
