Join the Free Community Meal: Craig needs helpers on Wednesday
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇿🇦 KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa176 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 114 neighbors in Durban. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
