Join the Free Community Meal: Chhaya needs helpers on Tuesday
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India627 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 216 neighbors in Kolkata. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you for reading my story.

wishing you the best. More neighborhoods should do this. Take care.
Keep going, Chhaya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
