Join the Free Community Meal: Abdul needs helpers on Monday
Our small team in Newcastle upon Tyne is running the Free Community Meal and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 543 neighbors in Newcastle upon Tyne. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
