Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 489 neighbors in Los Angeles. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Los Angeles.

    • Wishing you peace, Daniel. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. All the best

      • Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Eindhoven.

          • Wishing you peace. More neighborhoods should do this. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
