Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 438 neighbors in Kediri. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Praying for you, Sinta. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Paris

    • take care. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. All the best

      • praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

        • rooting for you, Sinta. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

          • sending love, Sinta. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
