Join the Community Soup Kitchen Night: Rowan needs helpers on Thursday
Our small team in Tampa is running the Community Soup Kitchen Night and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 393 neighbors in Tampa. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Thinking of you. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
