Join the Community Soup Kitchen Night: Nirmala needs helpers on Friday
We're short of hands for the Community Soup Kitchen Night; can you spare a morning?
🇳🇵 Lumbini, Nepal246 views
Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 408 neighbors in Butwal. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Ciudad de México
Rooting for you, Nirmala. Great idea, hope you get there. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Sending strength, Nirmala. I hope things turn around soon. After 22 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Hang in there, Nirmala. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Nagpur.
Praying for you. More neighborhoods should do this. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
