Join the Community Soup Kitchen Night: Maria needs helpers on Thursday
Give a few hours to the Community Soup Kitchen Night - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States1,584 views
Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 139 neighbors in Bakersfield. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Glad we found this place.
