Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 246 neighbors in Rio de Janeiro. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • hope things get better soon, Luana. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double

    • Rooting for you, Luana. Hope you get there. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Kaduna.

      • Sending strength, Luana. Great idea, hope you get there. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.

        • Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Flint.
